About the role

Responsible for the upkeep of pipelines within the assigned region, undertaking day-to-day planned operations and tasks to ensure smooth functionality. Regularly liaises with SCADA control to facilitate the efficient operation of pipelines and associated sites, while conducting routine checks in accordance with established procedures. Participates in the standby roster to attend call-outs as needed and promptly advises management of any relevant issues or concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Compiling and issuing infringement reports, line walk reports and Site visit sheets
• Undertake planned activities
• Monitoring pipeline wayleaves
• Responding to 3rd party requests for intervention and mediation
• Pipeline furniture husbandry
• Vegetation control
• Minor mechanical maintenance

About You

The successful candidate will possess a valid driving licence (including categories D+E), experience in roles requiring solo working, and the ability to use computers and spreadsheets effectively. Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to prioritise workload, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain a good level of physical fitness are essential. Competence in report writing is also required. Desirable qualifications and experience include working within pipeline operations and hazardous environments, as well as familiarity with pesticides, CAT and Genny equipment, gas monitoring, and pressure testing.
