Maintenance Supervisor  - Humber FTC 1 year

 

About the role

 

Supervision of Technicians / Crafts-persons to ensure maintenance is planned and executed in line with Company and Competent Authority policies, procedures, and guidance

Delegation of authority protocols. Liaise with RMM and Terminal Management for planning, allocation, and execution of activities both planned and corrective and Promote and develop the use of Maximo.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • To deputise for the RMM or IMM West/East Supervisor if required.
  • Review Maintenance requirements and the progression of all defects on a daily basis
  • Liaise with RMM with regard to maintenance issues
  • Assist the RMM with the production of all Maintenance KPI’s
  • Assist with the production and review of maintenance documentation and procedures
  • Control of contractor activity, to include Safe Systems of Work, permits and RAMS
  • Ensure correct training and competence requirements are identified and actioned
  • Ensure local asset data regarding condition is kept up to date
  • Assist with onsite maintenance activities as required
  • May be required to plan, manage & deliver small capital project works
  • Work to standard, procedures and work instructions for Safety Critical Tasks in order to meet COMAH requirements. Assessment of Competency will form an ongoing part of this role.
  • Ensure all tasks carried out conform to company policies, procedures and systems.

 

About You

 

  • The successful candidate will possess, Relevant mechanical or electrical qualification and Experience of working on Top Tier COMAH facilities, Computer literate with good knowledge of Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing, ability to manage own workload with little support and hold a Driving licence. Mechanical/Electrical Compex, with Experience in managing staff and experience with CMMS systems would be desirable.
