Weighbridge Administrator – Immingham
About the role
Support Exolum Immingham West Operations and Stock Control Teams in the accurate and efficient processing of all road tankers arriving at the terminals to load and/or discharge product.
Ensure compliance with all Company and legislative requirements on safety and environmental aspects, whilst maintaining an efficient operational and commercial terminal.
Key Responsibilities

Weighing of vehicles on entry and exit from the Terminal through the stock control system.

Ensure that weighbridge documentation is prepared as directed by the Terminals’ clients’.

To ensure that no release of product is made without the appropriate documentation.

To ensure that the acceptance of product into the storage facility is controlled; no product should be accepted unless notification has been received from the client.

Ensuring accuracy of information input onto the stock control system.
-
Operation of clients’ computer systems as agreed with clients.

To ensure drivers complete all necessary documentation on arrival at the Terminal.

Ensure driver documentation is in order prior to the vehicle being allowed to leave the Terminal.

Liaise with the Stocks Team Leader and/or clients direct, if necessary to ensure that specific requirements are met.

To ensure any work undertaken is carried out to the standards required by the Terminal’s management team and to ensure that the work station is adequately maintained.

To ensure that all operating procedures are adhered to.

To ensure that all Terminal safety requirements are adhered to and that all work is carried out in safe manner.

To ensure the effective implementation of ADR/RID Transport Security Plan.

Undertake the security check and operation of security barriers to control access to the Terminal.

Archiving of documentation according to Exolum and regulatory specifications.
-
Reporting of any incidents, dangerous occurrence, equipment failures, etc according to Exolum standards.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience interacting with customers and member of the public and possess an excellent telephone manner and an ability to work to deadlines.
In order to success in the role you will need to be literate and numerate with good GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. Experience in aspects of working on a fuel terminal and excellent communication skills would be an advantage. Use of computerised weighbridge systems would be desirable but not essential.
