Financial Planning Analyst – TS

 

About the role

 

 

To support Terminal Services financial reporting and collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and to maintain and manage the update of financial business model for forecast and the 5 year strategic business plan.

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

  • Maintain detailed financial model to support forecasting and long -term strategic planning.
  • Prepare quarterly rolling forecast including P&L, cashflow and balance sheet projections.
  • Coordinate the forecast assumption for future variance analysis and provide insights to finance and business management.

 

 

Budgeting and Reporting:

  • Prepare and issue the budget templates to ensure the data completeness and integrity.
  • Collect budget templates updated from business and upload data ( i.e. Revenue, OpEx, Capex) to BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
  • Perform monthly revenue analysis by contract for Terminal Services
  • Compile monthly KPI reporting pack
  • Coordinate Power BI dashboard reporting to track financial performance and operational metrics.
  • Support ad hoc finance analysis on terminal master plan, deep dive cost  overrun items/projects, risk and opportunities.

 

Process Improvement:

 

  • Prepare and document finance standard process and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Leverage technology and tools e.g. SAP, Power BI, Copilot to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities.

 

 

 

About You

 

The successful candidate will be a Part Qualified accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or a related field. They should have a minimum of 3+ years of budgeting and forecasting experience in a corporate environment, and possess expert skills in Excel and PowerPoint. The candidate should excel in financial modelling, be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate a high degree of initiative, being proactive, hands-on, and a self-starter. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to set and meet deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail are also essential.

 

Being a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a Master's degree, prior experience with SAP BPC consolidation and Power BI is desirable.
