About the Role
Support Exolum Tyneside Operations in the accurate and efficient processing of all road tankers arriving at the terminals to load and/or discharge product. Ensure compliance with all Company and legislative requirements on safety and environmental aspects, whilst maintaining an efficient operational and commercial terminal.
Key Responsibility
- To optimise all operations involved in product storage and handling
- To ensure that operational records where required are accurately maintained
- To assist in the development and review of standard operating procedures, as required
- To fulfil any role, within the Operations Department, for which appropriate training has been given
- To ensure that any work undertaken is carried out to the standards required by the Terminal’s management
- To liaise with all outside agencies, if necessary, on all relevant matters associated to product storage and handling
- To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained
- To communicate effectively with appropriate personnel to ensure the efficient performance of the Operations Department
About You
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, 5 GCSE’s A-C or equivalent with at least 1 years’ previous work experience Industry experience in aspects of a fuel terminal would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills be self-motivated and have excellent literacy and numeric skills, great at working in a team and be proficient in IT system, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word be a proven self-starter and willing to adapt to change and show good judgement.
