Commercial Manager Exolum TS - Seal Sands but can be flexible -  Permanent

 

About the role

 

Working as part of the commercial team you will be responsible for contract management with Exolum customers and support of the Commercial Lead to increase business, improve margins and meet budgeted targets. Developing  and maintaining strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders, including terminals to ensure clients are provided with  high standards of service.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for meeting sales budgets and improving net revenues from sales at UK terminals from oil & chemical products;
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions as required;
  • Ensure that all commercial enquiries are processed and administered in line with Group Commercial procedures, and all relevant contract information is communicated to the relevant departments;
  • Work closely with the terminal operations and engineering teams in assessing the suitability of all commercial enquiries;
  • Maintain a full appreciation of operational, project engineering and financing costs v recovery achieved;
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure adequate communication with both existing and potential accounts;
  • Explore and anticipate positive or negative market changes and progress opportunities for organic growth arising from change. This includes achievement of optimum returns from existing assets;
  • Working with the business development team as required, prepare, assess and submit commercial CAPEX cases;
  • Communicate fully on opportunities arising and exchange relevant market information with business development and value-added business management;
  • Supporting the Commercial Director in development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan;

 

 

 

 

 

 

About You

 

The successful candidate will have 2.1.degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 year’s experience in sales/accounting management and be able to demonstrate experience in negotiating & managing complex contracts. Commercial awareness is essential with demonstrable knowledge and awareness of the UK bulk liquid markets as applicable (oil, chemicals, bios etc) . The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have the ability to develop commercial solutions to solve problems.

About the Benefits

 

  • Salary £75,000.00 - £80,000.00 depending on experience
